Hi! I'm a Miami-based journalist and staff writer at the Miami New Times, where I cover criminal justice, immigration, politics, and culture.

Before joining New Times, I wrote about Florida's largest women's prison for The Appeal and covered the Surfside condo collapse as an intern for the Sun Sentinel. In 2021, I graduated from the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications. While there, I worked in several reporting and editing roles at the Independent Florida Alligator, the campus's independent student newspaper.

In 2022, I was named a finalist for an Esserman-Knight Journalism Award for my story "Miami Cop Fired for Calling Jewish Scripture 'Trash' Resurfaces."

My reporting has taken me from a Waffle House in Ocala, Florida, to Dr. Miami's operating room. It's also been featured twice on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."
